"Orzegów" coking plant technology

The technology path

The coal tower, along with the unloading station and mixing plant, was used to feed the coke batteries with input mix. The coal was placed in coke batteries using a combined machinery. The machinery consisted of compactor, charging machine, and pushing machine. The Orzegów coke plant possessed two such machines. First one from the side of the coal tower had a steam drive and the other one - electrical drive.
