History of the "Orzegów" coking plant

The historical path

Welcome on the former Gotthard – Orzegów coke plant. In years 1903-1976 it housed a coke-chemical plant that employed at average 300 workers and manufactured up to 159 thousand tonnes of coke per year. The plant also manufactured carbon-based products, such as. coal tar (5,790 tonnes/year), ammonium sulphate (1,350 tonnes/year), benzole (1,470 tonnes/year), and purified gas (58 mln nm3/year).
