Next to the gas coolers was built a condensation section. It was equipped with three gas suction nozzles, which sucked the coal gas and pumped it through the all instances of carbon-based products section, where the ammonica dissolved in the water was recovered. In 1910, on the territory of the coke plant was created an ammonium sulphate plant, in which the acquired water with dissolved ammonia was heated and quenched with lime. The result of this process was a post-gas water and water-ammonia vapours, which were then directed to a saturator. There, the vapours were mixed with sulphuric acid and created ammonium sulphate, which was dried and stored.
