|
January of 1945 is indicated by the attempts to save the coke plant from self-elimination due to the cease of coke production. Activities concerning the supply of coke plant and boiler plant with coal resulted in gunfire from Russian forces and death of workers at the coal depot. The state of the Firing Section was bad, but only residual production and restoration works were still performed. Only the battery no. 3 and undamaged chambers from batteries 1 and 2 were fully operated. The battery no. 1 was refurbished in 1946.
