W styczniu 1922 koksownia „Gotthard” („Orzegów”) stała się częścią spółki akcyjnej „Godulla S.A.” w Chebziu. Prowadziła ona działalność handlową zarówno na terenie Polski jak i Niemiec, a jej efekty ekonomiczne w dużej części zależały od sytuacji politycznej pomiędzy tymi krajami.

Do 1934 roku funkcję dyrektora koksowni pełnił inż. Schwartz, który w latach 20. XX wieku przygotował projekt modernizacji koksowni. Ostatecznie zrezygnowano

z realizacji tych planów, co miało ogromny wpływ na dalsze losy zakładu.

W 1934 roku zwolnionych zostało 80 pracowników, a niskie zarobki doprowadziły do strajku okupacyjnego. Nowym dyrektorem został wówczas inż. Szymon Bojanowski, który rozpoczął proces sanacji przedsiębiorstwa.

History of the "Orzegów" coking plant part 6

In January of 1922, the Gotthard (Orzegów) coke plant became a part of the Godulla S.A. Joint Stock Company in Chebzie. The company run its business activity both on the territory of Poland and Germany and its economic results strongly depended on the political situation between those countries.

Until 1934, Eng. Schwartz, who in 1920s prepared the coke plant modernisation project, acted as the coke plant director. In the end, the execution of these plans was cancelled, which had a great impact on the further fate of the plant.

In 1934 were fired 80 workers and the low incomes led to an occupational strike. At this time, the new director became Eng. Szymon Bojanowski, who started the industry sanation process.

Im Januar 1922 wurde die Kokerei "Orzegów" Teil der Aktiengesellschaft "Godulla S.A." in Chebzie. Sie war sowohl in Polen als auch in Deutschland geschäftlich aktiv. Ihre wirtschaftliche Entwicklung hing weitgehend von dem politischen Verhältnis der beiden Länder ab.

Bis 1934 war der Direktor der Kokerei Ing. Schwartz, der bereits in den 1920er Jahren ein Projekt zur Modernisierung der Kokerei ausgearbeitet hatte. Letztendlich wurde die Umsetzung dieser Pläne aufgegeben, was entscheidende Auswirkungen auf das weitere Schicksal der Anlage haben sollte.

Im Jahr 1934 wurden 80 Mitarbeiter entlassen und niedrige Löhne führten zu einem Streik mit einer Betriebsbesetzung. Zu dieser Zeit wurde Ing. Szymon Bojanowski zum neuen Direktor. Er begann mit der Sanierung des Unternehmens.
